The property, situated in the established Starmount neighborhood, represents the second significant collaboration between the family and New Garden Landscaping. The primary objective of the project was to transform the landscape into a serene retreat, specifically envisioning an outdoor sunken patio and gathering space tailored to host family functions and to provide a peaceful environment for retirement relaxation and reflection.

The project presented unique design challenges, most notably the presence of mature, established trees. These trees created significant root competition, making it difficult to maintain traditional turf. To address this, the design team strategically established new garden beds designed to reduce weak turf areas and instead highlight boulder and fern plantings that thrive in such environments. Every inch of the property was meticulously addressed to develop a lush, textural planting scheme that offers privacy while introducing vibrant color. The final result is a highly functional and aesthetically pleasing integration of hardscape and landscape that met the specific needs of both clients.
