We're currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our Garden Enhancement team. We are willing to train the right candidate who has a great attitude and is willing to learn. As a crew member, you will play a crucial role in delighting clients with top-notch horticultural services while working collaboratively in a safe and efficient manner. This position offers a competitive starting pay of $14.00 to $16.00 per hour, based on experience, with opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the security of all equipment and trucks by locking them when not in use, both on job sites and at the shop.
- Contribute to the overall care and cleanliness of equipment and trucks.
- Prioritize safety by demonstrating the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and promptly reporting any accidents or injuries.
- Demonstrate eagerness to learn and improve skills listed on the GET Skills Checklist.
- Communicate effectively with the foreman and other team members.
- Keep accurate job time via phone app.
- Ask for the next assignment upon completion of tasks.
- Go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Be present and on time.
- Be able to drive the team truck as necessary.
- Understand and execute the New Garden Way every day.
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently.
- Punctuality and limited absences.
- Maintain a professional appearance and behavior.
- Possession of a valid NC Driver's License with limited infractions.
- A good attitude toward your work and teammates.
- Good communication skills, goal-oriented, honest, and ethical.
- Previous horticulture experience is preferred, but we are willing to train someone with a desire to learn and grow.
