October 2014-Lois Aker

Congratlations Lois!

New Garden’s Employee of the Month for October is Lois Aker. Lois is overwhelmed and appreciative of the recognition.

Lois started her almost twenty year career at New Garden when the Village store was located in the farmhouse on Old Oak Ridge Road. She started as the receptionist and switchboard operator and has added payroll and data entry, customer maintenance, mailing statements, and calling utility locates to her repertoire. Lois will provide any administrative assistance she is asked to do.

She previously worked for the public schools, the hospital X-ray department, and as an optometric assistant. Lois enjoys spending time with her two children and three grandchildren.
