New Garden Landscaping & Nursery helps One West Fourth Street attain LEED Gold Rating

One West Fourth Street (OWFS) in Winston Salem is a 431,466 square foot office building in Winston-Salem.  The current primary tenants are Wells Fargo and the corporate headquarters of Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice. Originally constructed in 2001, it has since received numerous energy and conservation upgrades allowing the building to receive a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Existing Building Gold rating.

Criteria for LEED certification is based on attaining points in several credit categories. Working with Nightingale Realty property management, New Garden’s contributions to the water-wise landscape installation around the building helped gain the project points.  OWFS is currently the only office building in Winston-Salem to reach LEED Gold rating.
